Money, unfortunately, is an arbitrary mechanism which gives us a false sense of security that the more one pays the more one gets. I don't necessarily believe rhis is true in the Purple world. Paying two, three times more than the rate you are comfortable with does not automatically guarantee that one will last two or three times longer nor does it guarantee that one will receive two or three times better service.

The problem however comes in that one feels entitled after paying these high rates, expecting additional services to be included, expecting fantastic chemistry between both parties, expecting an experience of a lifetime, which is seldom the case. It just causes frustration, disappointment, dissatisfaction and ultimately resentment.

Keep on doing what one in comfortable with, enjoy every session, have no regrets and live life to the fullest.

The politians and unions are the guilty parties. They the ones that created this culture of "entitlement", that all and sundry have accepted as the norm.

See where it got our beloved country to, down in the gutter, and its doing the same to the purple valley.

Gents catch a wake-up. You not entitled to anything. You can only buy what you can afford, and fortunately in this industry, price is not related to quality.

Inflation hits everybody. Wgs need to survive so need to increase rates. I don't see this as an issue.

My issue is really about pricing for extras which were included in a booking before. This trend has not been great. Really spoils the mood, makes the session less fun.

Also this trend of girls advertising as MG's, but we all know they offer more, and then they give you the pricing with additional charges for each extra.

I have learnt expection can sometimes create disappointment.

Eg. A client calls he sounds like a rather nice guy meets all criteria for an appointment.I think to myself this is going to be a pleasant booking and he rocks up maybe tries negotiate my fees or he has such bad hygiene then refuses to take a shower because he had one this morning.

What do I do grin and do a half hearted treatment because I am too scared to touch you. Or ask the guy to leave putting myself at risk of a bad reviews because of a disgruntled punter. They are both wrong as I should give my all in all my treatments according to the guy who pays for a service. I should see him because he is paying and I don't have the right to ask him to leave.

Sorry that's a load of hog wash we should all have the right to say if we want said punters in our space or not. I practice my right only to be asked why I can't see them. These are not the only reasons I chose not to see punters it's just examples used.

Moral of the story don't visit with expectations but rather a open mind

The lady I refered to charges R4500 an hour. Extras at R800 each quoted. So it is not about price. Also please note that I was not in the establishment. So it could not have been about higiene or any such issue. When I arrived, I was told to take a picture of myself at the venue to confirm I am there. No issues from my side. Was looking forward to a nice treat and quite willing to pay whatever she asks. Only get the chance to visit the city once in a while and wanted to make the most of it .

@Arthwen

I totally agree that the industry will always exist. This does not mean that all participants will always thrive. Now is the time when clever ladies who provide a good service can actually thrive, provided they are not greedy.

I have to agree to disagree

I think that the inflation/ economy/ cost of living hurts everyone BUT it hurts the ladies as badly

To me punting is a hobby, same as Hunting, Fishing or rebuilding an old car

So as long as I can do this and help a charity for a good cause I will rather donate my money to a charity as opposed to a Gospel church to make sure that the pastor can drive in C63 AMG

I find that mindset is everything not just in this industry but in all walks of life and even in day to day situations. Unfortunately this industry is not for everyone and those who do make it, pride themselves in there presentation their service delivery among other things.

My point being was that paying us for a service does not mean that we should do whatever the punter wants because he is now paying who gives them this sort of entitlement. There will always be the good decent clients who we will always welcome back and whom we will always appreciate and treat them like the gold they are. However not every punter earns this right now matter how entitled the may feel.

Sorry one of my biggest turn offs are self entitled brats.

A man after my own heart. The wellbeing of punters and ladies are equally important. And you sir actually get that. Much respect to you.
