Assuming that it is indeed what the disgruntled punter said, it is certainly very strongly-worded and an emotional outburst on his part. It begs the question, what did you say to him to spark such a reaction? Consider perhaps if you had a condescending or disrespectful tone when you spoke to him.
I have been refused bookings on more than one occasion and from my personal experience, if it is conveyed to me in a respectful manner, then that is exactly how I'll reciprocate, with respect.

We would all like to think that we are nice people but we are not infallible. My question was more for your own intellectual honesty. There will always be one (or both) parties who feel that they are completely innocent.
