Let me give you some perspective:
This is an average daily expense list just to be able to work:
1. Room - R850
2. Uber - R100
3. Food - R200
4. Laundry - R280 (towels lingerie etc)
5. Consumables - R200 (bodywash,waters,condoms,oils, snack)
6. Appearance - R100 (this is being generous)
Total - R1730 per day just to see you. (Estimates)
There is days that we don't see anyone, but all of the above still needs to be covered.
We haven't even touched family expenses... Most of us have kids and families to look after too...
Im not kidding when i say We are feeling the pinch too, more than you could possibly understand. Remember, we are last on the list of things to spend money on!
I haven't raised my prices this year for obvious reasons... But at the end of the day We need to live too...

I expected the usual 'blah blah blah' from you but it is a welcome change to see you reducing your thoughts to actual words every now and then.
Back to the topic at hand, 'Prices must fall'. To whom does it apply? To those whom you cannot afford or in general? This rate discussion is as old as the hills when the solution is and has always been very simple. Stick to what you can afford and there is certainly no shortage of SP's to suit different pockets.
To the SP's, regardless of what you charge, some SP's just appeals to a wider variety of punters and that's just the way it is, no matter how many specials you choose to run. We all know it is happening but we are too reluctant to admit to it so freely so take it from a punter, it does not all come down to the price or how many extras you throw in.
In closing and as a sidenote, I'm not going into work on Monday, so if any of you are planning on joining the protest action, please keep the roads clear. I have a productive day of punting planned.

When I first started advertising my prices were exorbitant, even if I do say so myself.
I was working in Bedfordview (when I first went independent) and I still did the massage rate, plus the extra rate and more often than not at that time I earned 3K per booking.
My one regular client at the time had a really low income bracket and his first few sessions he had saved up to see me.
Eventually, he came out with it, that he wanted the same confidence I found through this line of work and so I trained him in massage, I helped him with his wardrobe and styled him, I personally cut his hair as well, got him ready for a photo shoot (just for any clarification- he didn't want to work in the industry), which we did privately and once he gained his confidence, that's when my job was done. He is one example of many who had no problem saving up and reaped the rewards in the end. This client in particular is doing better than ever financially and he no longer needs validation from others. He is just is oozing with confidence. All because one person gave him a platform to believe in himself.
I'll have to also save up for a number of ladies I'd love to meet on here and while I may not know why I need to meet them, the universe has a way of unfolding gifts that we don't even realise that we need. Sometimes things cost money, but in the long run it pays off.
A punt can be just a punt or it can be a beautiful energy exchange.

Becoming more frugal with money spend and looking to add another form of income, no matter how small (easier said than done, I know)...is a must and has been a must for years considering there is no real hope of an upturn in the economy ...(so it seems).
Changing ones work infrastructure to suit the new daily money spend...for the interim until the challenges become manageable, should be considered.
We all do what is comfortable for us and hope to market ourselves in such a way to attract a clientele that suits us.
The competition in this space is much "stiffer" than it may have been in the past simply because there is greater choice and everybody is fighting for that little bit of disposable income in the punters pocket.
Stick to ur guns when it comes to offering excellent service, reliable, consistent and always remember to define urself in a way that says...THAT IS ANGIE! WITHOUT DOUBT!...many will not like u because it is near impossible to please everybody. But...Angie is a "brand" and should be realized as such.
And....NEVER forget to be humble and decent and grateful. It does go a long way...I promise...especially in a space where things are already taboo and that little bit of humaneness is the unicorn that all seek.
And thus again...I thank u for ur honesty.

Punters also need to be filled in on our reality from time to time otherwise threads like this one appears. Can't be mad at them if they don't know!
