The right honorable Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma's close links to corrupt cigarette manufacturer Adriano Mazzoti are well documented. Jacques Pauw, in his book, The President's Keepers (remember the ex husband, ex-president) details more on this cozy relationship. Make one think !

And estimates range from R500m to 1Bn in revenue lost to the fiscus since the ban on cigarette sales. ? Go figure?
I also wondered if it is designed to support the illicit trade who support various political parties??

Latest estimate I saw is loss of 1.7bn in revenue just in April. Should be shocked and surprised but I'm not anymore.

Looks like we are not economically in trouble, losing that kind of revenue is a disgrace, plenty of people could have been fed :(
