I think they tired of trying to be the middle man and keeper of the peace or to try and fix stupid,yes I said stupid, because some will see all the red flags and still go and engage with that lady or punter.
We all grown ups here we make our own choices and as a result we have to live with consequences of those choices.
ESA don't run the businesses of ever single women on this site.. just like the Beeld, rapport or huisgenoot don't run the businesses of the advertisers that pay to advertise in their magazines or papers. Just like those publication they are only advertising space not an agency.
Nor do they control the wallets or brain function of those reading the adverts.. they are not responsible for what you do with your money or how much or how little you use your brain when spending money on an advertiser buying what they sell in their adverts.
And the new popi act would surely prohibit ESA from slapping ban signs over profiles even if they deserve it.. I think they would just block the adverts now .
Because anything that could remotely identify a lady or a punter published without their consent could cause legal trouble.
Life changes things change and we all must adapt or get left behind, that's just life.

Its not like esa is doing anything for free. They are getting paid to deliver a service. If they tired they should sell the site or close it down.

We do, however, to be fair - Not all of us feel particularly safe using that side of the platform, I can argue the same facts as stated in many of the comments above.
