Needless to say, the meeting didn't happen, but the point is that this is "a Thing" for sure.

I would say add race to the profile, but still let each lady herself decides if she want to fill that part in.

As an example..... When was the last time the race of a person was mentioned in the news?

You will always read "a Man was arrested for beating another to death with a stick, in a fight over a bottle of alcohol".

The only way for you to know the race of the man is to physically follow the case. When there is another article about this case there will probably be a picture of the offender where you can guess the race. Or there will be a name "This is the offender in court.....Sipho" ( an example)

Whether its included or not, whether some feel it's important or not, I always include it. It just saves me the headache and filters the enquiries, at least wrt race. I state it for my own convenience. Yes, I still get the odd caller asking ..... And that's one of those things I always say has no logical explanation, it just happens time after time after time. Guys asking about race, when its stated in my add, never actually make the booking.

For the exact same reason I would typically (when I suspect this may be an issue) state in my initial call/whatsapp "I am a coloured gentleman, is that an issue?"
