Although this thread was meant to offer a shoulder to lean on , lend an empathetic ear

I would like to thank all who messaged and called to ask about my wellbeing.

As you know and as I shared....makes me feel seriously silly and shy.

But am ever grateful for YOU and yes....I am still full of beans and here to listen and hear.

Only a message or call away.

And yes in a physical wellness session , sharing one's uncertainties is good too.

FAITH.

Many in life shall get us.

Those that do, stay around.

Those that don't, move on.

And Those that stay around but don't get you, well...it is on them and not you to make the best of a bad situation.

When we sit and chat or share among each other I love to quote certain passages I have read and ask others to quote their favourite passage that makes a difference on THAT day to their wellbeing.

Here is a quote :

"...

The master asked, ' if someone offers you a gift and you don't accept it, who does it belong to?'

One of the students answered, ' to the person who offered it.'

The master smiled and said, 'the same is true for non constructive criticism and contempt.
If you don't accept them they remain with the one who gave them.
What you don't accept, you don't carry."

WISDOM.

Sometimes pussy- footing around the obvious is neither being supportive nor constructive in the growth of self and any other.

And thus today ...a bit of excellent TOUGH LOVE.

quoted verbatim...

" Time to get in that mode again.

Your entire bloodline is watching you.

Take a deep breath and remember who the fuck you are.

You're getting comfortable again.
Remember what happened last time.

If the tables won't turn...flip them the fuck over! "

ACHIEVE.

A new week in the making.

An awakening that shook the foundation of many who did not realise...

A person who smiled without discrimination, laughed heartily, ever present to assist when help was needed, eventually having the courage to say..."I can no more. I can no more!"

The cry for help, recognition Of ones own need is NOT a weakness.

It takes strength to reveal what society deems should be shamed, ridiculed and attacked.

Rather a cry for help than a tragic knee jerk reaction leaving devastating ripple effects on those that one leaves behind in the wake of ones passing.

The truth is, one is not alone and there are many others who can relate and, have made it through their darkest hour.

And thus

"

" ever stop to think how your actions affect someone's peace?

Never be the reason someone kneels before God with tears in their eyes, asking Him to remove the pain you caused.

Hearts are fragile
Prayers are powerful and the weight of someone's sorrow could be heavier than it seems."

-quoted

PROTECTED & GUIDED.

Being in company that makes one step back and think, question without judgement ...even oneself.

And thud.

Quoted:

"Afraid to fail?

Embarrassment is the price of growth.
If you are not willing to stumble, fall and look like a beginner, you'll never rise as a master.
Every expert was once an amateur who refused to give up despite how they looked at the start."

And

"Need a reason to be grateful today?

Your ordinary day, the things you rake foregranted, might be the very life someone else is desperately praying for.
Be grateful for the little things, the mundane moments and the blessings you barely notice.
One day you'll realise they were everything. "

Sometimes we forget that our cups are half full rather than half empty.

BLESSINGS.

Taking the bull by the horns and facing the most uncomfortable in ones life can be draining, feel threatening, lead to silence and despair and possible isolation.

The act then to fit in, go against one's grain and values feeling less and less like oneself and more an imitation of what one imagines is acceptable to society or the group.

That is when trouble sets in.

That is when depression and loneliness sets in.

It is not easy standing upto and standing steadfast in a society that is fickle and driven by conceding to a "truth" that holds no value to your wellbeing.

At the end of the day...as quoted above in one of my posts, the longest relationship you shall ever have in your life is with yourself.

Do sit down, take a breathe and ask yourself...

Quoted:

" ...is it bravery or isolation when honesty costs you company?

Most people stay silent out of fear. I speak.my truth - that's why only a few people like me and I am fine with that."

....remember at the end of the day when you put your head down on that pillow , the world cares less how well you sleep.

PEACE.

We were speaking about how the tide knows to turn and recalling how last year felt as if even the blessings felt burdensome.

That job willed and appointed to , all of a sudden making one feel less worthy, incapable and a black sheep among one's co- workers.

Then to grit ones teeth , talk it out with a trusted group , walk away feeling more hopeful, putting out one's feelers for something better and ...Voila!

It happens.

Never to forget that it did not happen through procrastination or giving in to worrisome thoughts.

Never to forget one did not do it in one's own strength.

Here is a quote :

" Ever wonder why your mind suddenly fills with doubts when life feels good?

Sometimes the devil whispers fears of what might go wrong just to keep you from embracing the blessings God is placing right in front of you."

Life is a roller coaster. Ups and downs and never to forget the ups that are to come.

PS. Should you wish to chat on the basis of this thread or fwd me a message or email...PLEASE DO STIPULATE that is the reason you have reached out.

I have been asked many a time what is it that drives my passion , my desire to stand up for those I feel need it the most.

Because from young days my blessed childhood exposed me to individuals and communities that showed me, touched my very being, how lucky I was.

When little tots looked at me and i felt broken ( not that i was much bigger than them). When emotionless faces of adults sent a cold chill down my spine, when movement was mechanical and privacy was an unfamiliar thing for informal structures belonged to everybody and anybody, when a smile.looked more painful than an expression of joy....refugees.

Refugees...humans who belong nowhere, have no identity and..
Nobody truly wants them.

We were labelled as immigrants no matter where my late dads work took us but, how blessed I felt having what I had....my late dad's work, highly specialised had us traveling to the best parts of Europe and the world.

And thus this one always makes me take note and look to hopefully lighten a burden the rat race has desensitised humans to and allowed heartless painful interaction .

Quoted:

"...the loudest pain is often hidden behind the quietest smile - because not all battles are fought where the world can see."

LOVE.

Ps. Nope we were not refugees.

There will always be those "popcorn " people in your life.

Those that are full of advise and criticism and judgment, first to whip out their cameras at a tragic scene, be the bystander...the onlooker.

Adding no value nor assistance.

These are the sort that will not move a muscle to help nor guide.

Energy draining and making one feel even greater remorse misplaced.

Seek those that you know have your best interest at heart.

Especially when life knows not to be kind.

And remember, you too may be someone's hope in their time of need.

Quoted:

"...why let the world change you when you can change the world?

Be the reason someone still believes in pure souls, kind hearts and good energy.

No matter how harsh the world gets, never stop being the good in it."

YOU CAN.
