I don't mean to come across as insensitive, I do recall you having a very strong opinion about money and making money. Maybe that is the one thing that stands out in this guys mind that he wouldn't want you to feel he is part of you loss of earnings if he doesn't pay for your time, that is what it is right time that we pay for and part with.

And maybe becoming more or less than a transaction takes away from the allure of the experience.

Just thinking out loud

I hear you, but it's different when the offer of a deeper friendship comes from the SP. I wouldn't see him during work times, so I wouldn't be losing.

Sabrina, I think this can become complicated and I think he wants to avoid that. He doesn't mind spoiling you and booking you. These things become messy very quickly. He doesnt want more than bookings and to spoil you occasionally. Just accept it for what it is. You may be reading more into it than what is there or you may desire more than he is prepared to give.

I understand what you guys are saying, and I would've accepted the 'transaction' had I not mentioned to him I don't want payment every time. I saw him without expecting anything other than the time spent together as two human beings, and he threw it in my face.

It is called "keeping the money in the middle"... it is to safe guard againt creating expectations or seeming to be receptive of advances made "out side of the transcational part".

Sorry to say but seems you fell for a guy that definitely does not want to move past the "transactional" although he enjoys your company he instinctively knows that if he does not "pay" he will be giving you "hope" for there to be something more , that something more is something he ain't willing to give.

'Right on the money', Miss Red. Men would rather pay than opening the door to any kind of emotional baggage.

I also agree with Slyboy, you have been very vocal about money. We pick up on things like that and carry that perception around, even if you say something differently in person.

I would say expectations of what might happen after. I guess his just being cautious that's why he believes in giving forward.

He could have experienced this before but don't give up just yet he might change his mind.

What is a traditional relationship?

Increase the rate for him only, if he still continues to visit then u know he is hooked

I think the reason he would keep paying is because he wants to keep the relationship professional and transactional.

If he doesn't pay you it feels more personal/intimate. This sounds like he's trying to maintain boundaries.I'm 99% confident this is what it is.

I'm sorry it's hurtful though.

Please read all before you get angry. It gets better towards the end.

My first thought was that you must be one hell of a play partner (him coming back and your forum fan club), but that with your battle axe personality I would also be super cautious to spend time with you when clothed.

That's where the bad stops.

Yet then I realized that the mere fact that you ask such a vulnerable question proves you are more than your condescending persona.
So herewith notice that you have shifted in my mind from being an "uncontested permanent negative vibe", back into the "yet to decide" box.

My apologies for jumping to conclusions!

He either don't trust you and or himself to keep it at the "fuckbuddy" stage, therefor he opted to rather keep it transactional.

So a rule when it comes to friends and their businesses and that is I ask for a quote and I pay the quoted amount. I don't want freebies and if they give a discount cool, just as long as they are making money because at the end of the day, that is their livelihood and due to being in the business of companionship maybe it's something like that?

Trouble is the only person who has the answers and who knows the full situation is the guy. We give possibilities and maybe you can figure it out based off the knowledge you have of the situation. But unfortunately the only way to get the real answer is asking "why do you feel the need to pay me outside of working hours" and you get an honest response

A few scenarios

He has burnt his fingers before where the lady turned around later and asked for money for past time spent. Yes that happens.

He feels like this is a way of supporting you in your life.

He has been in one too many transactional relationships and he thinks this is the norm, and your objections are just being polite. Think of the Sugar baby culture.

The taboo nature of paying is a turn on for him.

He could lack some self worth and that he feels like he can't get this attention for just being himself.

There are so many situations that are plausible, without actually speaking to him.
