First rather take this up with ESA off line. They know how to deal with this and can advise you what to do once they've seen the threats. I assume she knows your personal identity so be cautious that it doesn't blow up in your face - engage ESA first.

I think following her on IG and she then becoming aware through your friend that you know her real identity and that she has a secret life and can expose her kicked her into attack is the best defense mode. This is also backed up by the fact that she blocked you. She clearly feels a boundary was overstepped between the ESA world and the real world. So perhaps put yourself in her shoes and relook at the situation again - not saying the threats are right but maybe she's frightened and don't know how else to react but block and basically say stay tf away.

There must be more to this. She hasn't blackmailed or demanded something. She blocked you. So she wants nothing from you. Why would she threaten you if she has nothing to gain from it?

You dont have to open your friend's instagram to see who they follow. I can, for example, using my own instagram account, see who my friends follow

My Advice. Walk away from this and move on.
