A much cheaper solution is to go to Builders, buy a bottle of Efecto No Roach 25 SC (less than R100) and a spray bottle if you dont have one.

Apply as per instructiins and remeber to do 1 or 2 follow-up tretments.

Been using this for years with great results.

Rarther use the money saved for a few extra punts....

Only the real guys who know their job in fumigating can get rid of them, it took three sessions for them to come out over a period of two weeks to finanly get rid of them at the same cost. So please stop with these over the counter jobs. They aint any good. may kill a few but aint gonna kill all the little babies waiting to hatch out and take over where mom and dad died off. S

Yes expert with idiots talking about using this that and the other so called gimmicks. spraying etc. Its common knowledge that only the pros can rid this vermin from houses, flats etc. You obviously dont have much between your ears. No attitude just trying to get it through to delusional people who thinks buying a can of doom etc gonna rid the roaches. IT AINT!!!!!

There's a gel, can't remember the name, it's a small tube, you will probably need about 3 tubes, it's around R80 a tube. Put the gel in the corners of drawers and underneath the shelves everywhere. They eat it and get it on them, taking it back to their nests. IT'S BRILLIANT AND WORKS LIKE A BOMB! IT TAKES MAYBE 3-4 DAYS. I had tried EVERYTHING before this and nothing worked. I bought the gel at checkers hyper.

Agree that I might not have much between the ears, but do belive my B.Eng, M.Eng and PMP qualifications allows me to formulate my own opinions which are sound, unbiased and based on FACT.

What works for me might not necessarily work for the next person but I refuse to bring the professionals in to fumigate my 600sqm house every time I see a roach. It is extremely costly and I've managed infestations with the normal over the counter pesticides pretty effective and at a fraction of the cost of what the Pro's charge. Severe infestations, go to the local co-op and get some organophosphates or N-Methylcarbonates, the stuff which farmers use. Only needed that twice in the past decade or so.

But again, not sure if it will work for all situations but if definitely worked for mine.

Apologies if I might have offended you with the nothingness between my ears. Will try my utmost best to further educate myself and try not to impose any of my personal experiences on others.
