No one on this forum will admit to being an alcoholic or a substance abuser, so the trend will just continue. No one wants to be marked as such, which might or might not impact on their business. Why you ask, because of the fact that punters are sometimes, in fact more often than not, looking for someone to share a drink or a joint with. Some can only perform when they are high.

So it is coming from all sides. Not just the fucknut friends, co-workers, family etc, but from your clients as well.

This is not getting better. Chained to fate, lost at sea, the only "solution" drugs and/or alcohol.

As Mike mentioned, you actually see the sparkle disappear in the eyes. The fun and joy replaced with despair and hopelessness, to the point where you don't even know which day it is.

If you haven't been exposed to the ravages and ravings of drug and alcohol abuse, you will not quite believe all the stories. It is actually worse.

And if you as a user does not decide to end the cycle, the lonely road to destruction will be yours to wander.
