He definitely wasn't reliable.
He dropped poor Divine and a punter after organizing a DP .
Also had a few reviews that were suspect.

Heard from a current ESA advertiser that he definitely used his so called status on ESA to get discounts and freebies.

Doesn't make him unreliable. Maybe he just didn't find her attractive. I too would have turned down a freebie with her because she wasn't my type at all.

With all due respect, but how is using any advantage you have to get a discount or a freebie a bad thing? I have found Q to be a real upstanding dude, and if he uses his fame / notoriety to his advantage, more strength to him I say. Sounds a little like sour grapes to me.

You cannot be serious with that response OJ. ???

How different is Q's alleged actions compared to our acting police commisioner Khomotso Phahlane's 80k sound system that was 'sponsored' by a company that was conveniently awarded a lucrative multi million R tender. He also used his 'fame / notoriety' to his benefit.

Sorry @PD I am not going to entertain such a ridiculous false equivalency.

Ja...didnt really say it made him unreliable Oraljim. Maybe I just expected "something different" from the punter of the year? Ive only met him briefly...spoke excactly two words with him....cannot comment about anything really. You made it clear from the start that she wasnt your type (miss those posts now).

@PD I have no "affiliation". I just happened to have met Q a number of times and have exchanged a number of messages with him and always found him to be a nice guy. I base my judgement of someone on my own experiences not what some completely anonymous "current ESA advertiser" has to say. You may want to consider doing the same. Or not. Your choice.

But before you go throwing stones from your glass house, consider this, as it is extremely common. A punter calls a lady, asks her rate. She says "R1K". He says "shit I only have 900, is that OK?" Lady agrees. That's negotiating a discount. If you get her price down to 0, it's a freebie. The fact that he is better at negotiation than you are is what leads me to believe you have sour grapes, since obviously it's not the actual principle involved (negotiation).
