I was contacted by an Afrikaans speaking man saying is an inspector or Warrant officer at SAPS. I contacted a few ladies via Whatsapp, so not sure who it was

The OP has been a member since 2016 and has made a total 12 posts in that time ie. 2 posts a year. For those asking him questions, should get a reply in May 2023.

You're probably be right. Probably just decided after years to make a booking so bought a SIM do call and this happened so he let us know with minimal details and disappeared again.

I have had a few calls from a detective whatever from some police station with a bullshit story about my visiting an "Escort Agency". The cell number that calls is 071 057 1309 or 071 010 1360.
Truecaller shows it to be a scam call.
