If their addiction impacts their work, then I just don't visit again...saying that I've smoke weed and had drinks with a few ladies in the industry over the years. I continued to visit them many times.

Punting is also an addiction of sorts, I don't see people steping in to help me stop! If they do I will tell them to F-off - my life, my money!

So I don't think I have the right to intervene in someone else's life!

If she looks sexy takes care of her self and has good manners on the day I visit got nothing to with me what she does in her personal capacity.

Seeing someone go down that dark path makes me sad.
So odds are that I will not visit any more.

I don't know if I should even comment on this thread. I have been personally going through the most heart breaking trauma of being a mother to a child that has been battling addiction for the last few years. All I can say is that it's the most soul destroying thing to watch your child self destruct, harm themselves and destroy their relationships with those close to them. The feeling of helplessness is shattering on so many levels. I wish that I had, had the financial resources to step in earlier. And I am still battling to keep up with the financial costs. But my young man is now in an amazing programme getting the help he so desperately needed and he is so grateful. He didn't want help initially and thought he could conquer this battle alone. He fought it for years, on and off, getting clean and then relapsing I eventually got a court order and he now thanks me for doing what I did, he is so grateful for this chance to fix his life every time I get a call or a visit with him. My advice after suffering through this as a parent would be to intervene. Sometimes, people need a caring hand to steer them in the right direction. Society also needs to learn that drug usage or addiction are a symptom,not a disease. Stop treating addicts with disdain, most addicts are suffering from a traumatic emotional experience they have endured and are not able to process or handle it. It does not make them a bad person, and instead of pushing them into being outcasts, which pushes them further into the world of addiction, we should pull them into our lives and offer them love, support, guidance and empathy.

May God Grant me the Serenity to accept the things I cannot Change.
The Courage to Change the things I can,
And the Wisdom to know the Difference.

I am still on this journey and it's not easy. In fact, its been incredibly emotionally, spiritually, physically, mentally and financially draining.
But I see his smile, his face light up with the promise of a brand new start to a promising life that he so desperately has been wanting and he was just wanting someone to show they cared enough to encourage him. And that is worth it!

Depends on what she looks like.
Missing teeth || phuza face || looks 50 at 25 || malnourished
