I hope you got the guy at the police station to phone him and start asking about where he got the dead man's phone from...

I had my first call in 10 years on monday, apparently I paid some1 in fake notes...i asked so many questions, he got annoyed and cut the call...i have only been to 2 ladies in pta in last 4 months, I would hate to think it was either of them that gave my number...

I never went and there was nobody working there by that name. I forgot to mention he claimed to be a detective. My connection at SAPS is well connected. Nobody by that name at any station in my area. I wasn't gonna expose myself anyway. He didn't say which Saps station, neither did I mention a station. He never aksed which station I am going to. ( A real cop would tell me where to go and where to find him)
This was LONG before this became so common place (before lockdown) Around that time a lady was banned here for working with a bf in prison, sending him numbers to blackmail punters. She shows up on other sites ever so often.

Nope not my private phone but a punter only phone.
Girl gave them my car reg number ... I received an WhatsApp last night saying police had been to my residence but couldn't reach me, they hadn't. In same WhatsApp also sent my ID number and my address.... so someone is helping them!!!

@Merlot this means the WG you saw gave your details to the scammers , think properly where were you last who did you go and see you drove to that person now you have the answer
report her to ESA
this is gone too far are clients suppose to taxify when coming for a booking I give up

Recieved a call from a Colonel. He wanted to issue a warant of arrest same story fake notes...told him to do it with pleasure.

This post is worrying, I would not know what to do if someone gave my number out and I get harrassed or they tell my family etc. it is a real fear i have. So what if we start making online bookings via an esa portal? profiles of users will be legit (mostly i guess) but would this perhaps be a way to make connecting with providers more secure? What do you all think?

Zeena, yes i know who the girl is but she does not advertise on ESA anymore. She passed on my punter number but also my car registration which they then used to get more details. No calls today ... so far!!

Who to really trust these days ???? Car number plates given to the scammers is a totally new dimension, this is going to make guys more scared to go to a new WG.
Guess who will suffer most , the honest WG 's

Also received the same BS about paying in fake notes. I suspected the girl I last booked in PTA East. I did immediately asked her and she was so defensive and aggressive on why I'm asking her. I would have thought she would show empathy. Sadly based on my experience I dont have an inch of trust left. Hence i have a punting sim or put my call on private to avoid kak.
