What about walking away from a WG that you pulled out of the industry, but you can't provide anymore?

I should have just listened to so many warnings here about not having a relationship esp if you are already married and have a family.

Now, leaving is becoming so difficult and at the same time you do not want to continue.

How does one walk away without hurting anyone?

Eish...I got nothing for you mate except maybe just be honest and lay all cards on the table. Maybe there might be a middle ground where you have some sort of retainer agreement and she can fill out the shortfall with bookings if she wants.

But to your first point, yes listen to the warnings next time and unless you have +-40K to spare a month, then don't do it. I'm always tempted to propose during my punts but the bank balance reminds me to watch it, lol

To answer the question posed at punters...can you walk away? Personally I cant. I had an issue with being hooked up with a lady friend. Eventually sorted that out. Serious dating started and I tried as hard as I could not to log on again but wtf, a week later here I was checking out the punani....I'm hooked gents.

Ya I tried it several times to to walk away but it doesn't end well.

I am really working like a donkey just to keep up. And I'm tired and it is now affecting my life somehow.

Anyways, I hear you man. I guess for the sake of my well being I better man up and find a peaceful way of walking away without hurting anyone.

As for me I am very happy here, I have everything I need.
Today a pilot, tomorrow a mechanic, sometimes a banker rarely a plumber....often IT specialist..., Monthly a doctor....just to name few.....,

So why on earth walk away from this life?

My Lovies, InshAllah I want to be here fo you as long as possible

Sometimes u have to stop trying to be the knight in shining armor nd let ppl go thru the things that they need to go thru, they'll come out on the other side better, stronger, smarter, wiser, u get the picture.

Hooking up while married, be it with the secretary or a SP never ends well.

People gradually expect more , the guy wants more time and sex the women want more support and time.. eventually someone has to make hard decisions.

And somehow those decisions always impact harder than you could imagine.

I think brutal honestly is the only way to solve this. It does not do anyone good being stuck in a situation that does not work. Someone is gonna end up hurt either way.

Someone suggested the "retainer" deal.. my opinion... That can be used as a bridging solution to returning to what it was before you both lost yourselves.

A retainer deal for x amount of x time spent for 3 months while she builds up a client base again in that time. After that return to pay as you go.

That way she can't accuse you of taking her and just dropping her cold. That way you can retain a professional relationship.

Goodluck to both of you.

Knight in shining armour syndrome breaks more women's hearts than being a bad guy syndrome.

Trying to save every damsel in distress ends up getting you in kak and having every damsel in emotional distress and pissed off with you.

Every time I'm tempted to save someone I remind myself we're all adults and she will help herself with the right skills and tools. Money is a shitty way to help.

Dude how many people on earth would still do their job if they won the lotto? I think most people in most industries would walk away if they won the lottery. Nothing different about the purple world.
