If 1% of budget spent on arms, defence and the military was diverted to food stability...the ever growing hunger crisis could be addressed.

Just 1%.

"Entirely preventable hunger crisis" quoted.

But here's the question. Which countries are food insecure?
Man-made starvation?
Food weaponised.

Education weaponised.

And why are humanitarian agencies suffering?
Why are the powers in charge of peace and stability and deep pockets deaf?

Yet a gala had...

$1.4trillion investment just agreed upon between UAE and USA.

Why not educate to be self sustainable?

Because keeping segregation, violation of humanitarian rights, no push for education , the farce of equality is a money spinner .

The rich get richer.

The poor are none the wiser....nor know it could be different.

Access to arms as opposed to education.
Allow the most corrupt to stay in power and "rape" the rewards of corrupt and easily bought governments.

Systems. Man made approved and fought for systems.

Can it be differnet?

A laughable pipedream.

Recalling the time when Advocate Shamila Batohi was appointed as the National Director of Public Prosecutions and our discussions how this pocket rocket could be the answer and hope to weeding out the corrupt and the most criminal.

The discussions about the concern for her safety should she hit the NPA with what seemed like a "pitbull" attitude and exactly what the NPA needed....what the law abiding citizens of SA deserved.

Then set in the red tape.
The division.
Cut budgets....and who knows what else.

....and whistleblowers falling like swatted flies.

They say the fish stinks from the head and when we look at the tragic assassination / murder of Babita Deokaran , Hangwani Maumela the kingpin of the looting Thembisa Hospital scandal and his link to the president of South Africa....another Nkandla?....another raping and looting of state coffers?

It seems another farce. The fight for justice and accountability.

Another fight for power...not for the people but, control .
Control of government and the appointment of a legislature further plagued and influenced by friends in high places and the underworld empire, transitional and on the rise.

Is there more to the Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi saga than meets the eye?

A power struggle at the heart and not the fight for justice to be upheld.

......"With savages, the weak in body or mind are soon eliminated; and those that survive commonly exhibit a vigorous state of health. We civilised men, on the other hand, do our utmost to check the process of elimination; we build asylums for the imbecile, the maimed, and the sick; we institute poor-laws; and our medical men exert their utmost skill to save the life of every one to the last moment. There is reason to believe that vaccination has preserved thousands, who from a weak constitution would formerly have succumbed to small-pox. Thus the weak members of civilised societies propagate their kind. No one who has attended to the breeding of domestic animals will doubt that this must be highly injurious to the race of man. It is surprising how soon a want of care, or care wrongly directed, leads to the degeneration of a domestic race; but excepting in the case of man himself, hardly any one is so ignorant as to allow his worst animals to breed.

The aid which we feel impelled to give to the helpless is mainly an incidental result of the instinct of sympathy, which was originally acquired as part of the social instincts, but subsequently rendered, in the manner previously indicated, more tender and more widely diffused. Nor could we check our sympathy, if so urged by hard reason, without deterioration in the noblest part of our nature. The surgeon may harden himself whilst performing an operation, for he knows that he is acting for the good of his patient; but if we were intentionally to neglect the weak and helpless, it could only be for a contingent benefit, with a certain and great present evil. Hence we must bear without complaining the undoubtedly bad effects of the weak surviving and propagating their kind; but there appears to be at least one check in steady action, namely the weaker and inferior members of society not marrying so freely as the sound; and this check might be indefinitely increased, though this is more to be hoped for than expected, by the weak in body or mind refraining from marriage."

U mean like the articles in Playboy magazine that have nothing to do with ass and tits and pussy?

How did it get so long?

Well...maybe because it is ok to write about things other than how one can fuck , suck and who knows what else.

Thanks for counting.

I was hoping for 500 bfr 2025.

I was not irked. I only asked a question why this thread is on this site. It does not make any sense. Also, why are you so rude to me. I did nothing to you.

BTW, I think I have figured it out. You seem to be the only person posting on this thread. No wonder it is so long.

Griffindude.

Take a breather.

Nothing rude in what I said.

Just making an observation...and now wondering if it is more than simply an observation.

Pls pls dont give it any credibility.

I prefer to be wrong and imagine you are a worthy contributor to this wonderful kaleidoscopic forum.

;D

Or, maybe (and hear me out here)...

...the two situations are different and its possible for people with a brain to support a single individual in one situation, and oppose them in another (different) situation?
