Perhaps a good place to name and shame the others who are pulling the same scam

Alexa on the Westrand, loved by many but also scammed by some is also guilty. I've seen proof of this where she's simply ghosting the punter after just ignoring him after paying a deposit of R1000

I understand why some punters don't want to name and shame,.so if you're a punter and you've been scammed and you're too afraid to post it, inbox me with the proof and I'll.name and shame the scammers

I cannot believe I'm here a whole 6 weeks later and not been paid back like I had been promised.
For context, I paid a WG for a 30 minute session (my big mistake as I'm new to all of this and have learnt my lesson now). But the booking didn't happen as she told me about an hour before that she had to cancel because someone is renovating or something.

The issue is I could only do that day at that time because I have left the country for work and not sure when I will be back so I kindly requested a refund which didn't and still hasn't happened.

I've been nagging her constantly for almost 2 months now and she just ignores me, you would laugh if you were to see our conversation on Whatsapp with me trying to get a response from her. She has not been fair.

I didn't want to have to come here but 6 weeks is a joke after she promised she will refund me, she's had my banking details for nearly 2 months! 100s of texts to no responses from her. If I don't get my money then people at least need to be weary so let me have everyone's best interest at heart.

But us punters don't smell of roses either. We make bookings and then don't pitch or at best WhatsApp our cancellation minutes before. We do not even consider the cost we have caused the SP for this disruption to her day. She has probably spent time bathing and preparing herself specially for you, warming the room, lighting candles, setting the mood with music and cancelling appointments that Murphy will always want at the same time. All of that has real cost consequences to the SP. Perhaps she even paid for the guest-house room!! ..... and then we don't pitch!! Believe me - you might think you were the only one to disappoint the SP that day but I know that this is a regular occurrence often forcing the SP to ask for deposits. Doctors and dentists etc all charge a cancellation or "no-pitch" fee for exactly the same reason. If you make an appointment - honour it!! An apology does not cut it!!

I couldn't agree more. I usually request a deposit, especially from anyone who's messed me around before. I've always delivered on my service, but what's unacceptable is when I make exceptions for someone and they end up standing me up at the last minute. Going forward, I simply won't accept any booking without a deposit.

Two wrongs don't make a right. Punters not pitching for bookings is not an issue that absolves WGs that steal prepayments.

Whilst you make a good point, that's a whole different discussion entirely.
Just to clarify, SHE cancelled the booking, not me. I had already paid and was ready to go for the appointment
