As this post pertains everything you may be curious about me...
I'm always asked within 10 seconds of meeting/speaking to someone: Where are you from? You have such a heavy accent!
Let me answer that for you: I'm from France, and my home language is French (hence the accent).
Another question I get asked a lot as well (and find it really amusing to be honest! MDR): What race are you? Like seriously gentlemen does it matter that much? If so kindly be nice about it,oui?
Anyhow, I'll answer that: I'm mixed race (I'm what you call in South Africa Coloured) and proudly so,as this has given me an opportunity to experience different cultures firsthand...

Now I don't mind the above questions being asked,I'm never offended by any means. What I however find rude is when you call me,ask my availability and area I'm based in and I answer politely. You proceed to ask : Are you Black or White? As I'm answering a question you just asked you hang up in my hear.

Sorry Ms Cleopatra that you have to endure such bad telephone etiquette. I guess it will happen but a very small percentage of the time should be normal. You shouldn't have to clarify anything to us, just my opinion....like I said before...an exquisite gem. So forget the negative vibes created by someone dropping the phone on you..other gentlemen and ladies might appreciate you more. Honestly speaking I must say so far I've had the pleasures of meeting and spending time with gentlemen, I can't complain about my clients ey they've all treated me with respect and I'm grateful for those kings!
