Lockdown is on everybody's minds', so when Silky Ciryl presented the plan, many people would only see the words Moving to Stage 4, and in their minds, all of a sudden, lockdown becomes a guideline.

Im assuming that ladies are planning to return to work at some point the classification makes no sense how were we stage 5 at lower infection rates than now it seems like the classification is economic relief with a wait and see approach however if one wants complete safety or level one as someone said it's a long wait perhaps waiting for the cure or the vaccine

No Liza...you are way too smart to be missing anything...in fact..social distancing rules are here to stay regardless of level 5 or 1 and even after...but not judging anyone's decision...just know the risks and be willing to live with the consequences.

Here is the cold hard truth. Social distancing is going to be with us for about 2 years. This thing (virus) is going nowhere soon. It's here to stay for quite some time. It's only going to get more risky to have physical contact as time goes on. Only once a mass vaccine is rolled out or once the population reaches herd immunity will sanity begin to return. Before that, no matter what government says or does regarding the restriction level, physical contact is something to literally avoid like the plague.

I understand the seriousness of the virus.

However, from a wg point of view, there us only so much one can endure. Savings are running dry. Landlords asking for rent. Food to be put on table etc etc. That's the reality. Some of them are going to start working. Its virus or starvation.

I just read a survey done. More than 45% if people didn't have money for food.

Also, as I read and understood, the reason for lockdown is to combat the spread so that government has time to prepare for the peak of the virus. So the numbers will spike after July.

Its been business as usual for many wgs. Here and on the other site, many have marked themselves as available and i noted the numbers increase gradually, daily.

Lots of them were and are not providing remote services and we can only hope that they exercise caution and be safe.

Couple of venues opening, wonder under what circumstances, social RELIEF maybe ;)

Apparently your movement via your cellphone is being used for contact tracing if you are found positive. Not sure the extent that this will be taken. If they find that you were visiting a "friend", would you and the wg be prosecuted for breaking lock down rules?

I seen 1 venue has already advertised that they opening next week.

Another is considering.

And i know of a venue that has been open throughout lockdown.
