This is a fact I deal with this on a daily basis

Yeah woke culture is terrible. This new thing of historically marginalized and ill-treated groups finally standing up fpr themselves is terrible.


That they can band together on social media (without traditional media filtering their voices) and expose the shit thats been happening to them for years like casual racism and police shootings is such a waste.

Its so shit that and old white male can't harass his secretary anymore without worrying about being metoo'd.

And it REALLY sucks that we can't say mildly racist jokes any more... those pesky people of colour really don't take jokes made at their own expense quite the same any more... everyone is so soft.

You know what I really hate... how the plight of the poor is being highlighted. How they are making it seem like sometimes being poor and born into a poor uneducated family isnt their fault and making it seem like me getting to where I am had something to do with some of the advantages I had (which clearly it didn't) and they should just work hard and they'll be rich too. I mean nothing is holding them back right

Being held accountable for the things I say, is really quiet shit. Miss the good ol' days when being privileged was a quiet thing you just enjoyed, now people keep pointing out my advantages... its so unfair.

It's called cultural Marxism.

The study of history is also discouraged in case what they discover about their past hurts people's feelings.

GreatD generally the dislike of woke culture is not actually about the things that you mentioned.

It's more about people playing the victim and wanting to take zero responsibility for where they are.

That wrong and right are decided on feelings and not on actual facts.

That the world is black and white. If you don't agree with everything they say you should then you are evil.

That the only reason for success is someone's privilege and any hard work they did or sacrifices made had nothing to do with it.

That they believe you are evil or good based on race or gender. I.e if you are white or male then you must be wrong.

Generally telling people they are wrong is not the way.

Having calm discussion while also listening to their side and asking them the difficult questions over time has far larger impact.

Sometimes it means you also get to realize that you are wrong and helps you get better.
