It feels so surreal. Feels like a dream. I don't know how we are gonna make it. I'm about to go put a claim on my 32 day notice savings. Hun it's not even that much to sustain me till the 16th of April. I'm literally in full panic to be honest.

What is a lockdown?
A lockdown is an emergency protocol that prevents people from leaving a given area. A full lockdown will mean you must stay where you are and not exit or enter a building or the given area.
This scenario usually allows for essential supplies, grocery stores, pharmacies and banks to continue to serve the people. All non-essential activities remain shut for the entire period.

Fair enough, but understand that free advertising will not help put food on the table, pay the bills or keep the roof over our heads. It has been so quite the past couple weeks, not easy to have saved up enough funds to help get through the lockdown

I'm in the same boat... I just cancelled a 2 hour sessions... pending on clearance from my bank... I won't take a chance... I'll rather pay the money back when it's cleared... got a little one to think of... it's hard, it's sad, it's bad but it's reality...
We can only pray... we will get through this... we are in this industry... we can face anything..

So how do you go and buy food ?
Food stores are open but I cannot get there. SANDF soldiers will stop me.

I think a lot of private ladies will still continue to work.

You are allowed to go buy groceries, go to the pharmacy and hospital and collect grants

The president has basically shut down the escort business for the next 3 weeks. I can only sympathize with all the ladies on this site whose income will be severely affected. Hopefully some of the prepayment schemes that punters have proposed can come into effect to help with cash flow. It is going to be hard but in the interest of the country and its inhabitants very necessary. Good luck to all.
