I could see many Hilux bakkies parked at the venue. It looked like a farmers market auction!

The boertjies are lekker jags now these days!

One bakkie even had sheep on it...are they paying with sheep now?

I've done worse.
Went to an "upmarket" venue in PTA in my overalls.
Yes I was clean, but had to site in the restaurant/waiting area looking like a labor.
This was peak late afternoon.

Spur of the moment punt... And dam worth It.

No need to feel ashamed sitting in a restaurant with your overalls. Julius and kie sit in parliment with theirs.

But then on 2nd thought, the venue is most probaly more upmarket than parly.

I have seen it all

I have a place at the Vaal between Deneysville and Oranjeville

Limited amount of pubs so a bakkie with cows/sheep/game is usual. Even tractors and the once there was a TLB parked out side

Without insulting anyone here

The funny part is that when you walk inside you can spot the driver instantly - short shorts of a certain colour (no matter the weather) and a two tone shirt

Yes Peter. And in winter when really cold they wear 2 pairs of shorts.

Jokes aside, I think the reason for the sheep is clear. I won't frown at your golf club excuse if you don't laugh at my auction excuse;))

The sheep are there to keep the lawns manicured, how else do you think the venues manage to keep the grass so short all year round?

Another reason, they may be part of a sheep fight club.

Lately the "Boerbul" brand has become very popular between the youngsters. Those pants squash "the tools" till its owners eyes are tearing up and then some more.

Beyond me why someone would wear something as tight fitting as that. I prefer mine to be "hanging" free, with room for exspansion, should the situation calls for it.

Those BOER legs and buns makes pretty JHB little ladies all weak in the knees.

My high heels and dress falls off!!!

There is something about those rough hands on my delicate soft skin (I can't describe the feeling...). It's a bit primal.

I think we need a new slogan to replace that confrontational EFF one to,
"shag the boer, blow the farmer".
