Tell her: "I'm sorry, I cannot legally discuss my clients with anyone, as this would be an ethical breach of contract" - sure, none of that is true but by dropping in some fancy legal mumbo-jumbo the lady in question might be left confused enough to drop the call.

I went through it a few months ago. It's stressful and scary to be honest. I changed my work place, blocked contact numbers and stopped answering private numbers.

Same happened to me. Didn't answer my phone for a week

I think most of us gone through that. An ex-forum member's wife contacted me after he took a pm discussion onto WhatsApp and wifey saw it. Thing is he got into trouble over a conversion about a service he couldn't even afford.
It throws you for a loop for a few days. I blocked them both. Well, wifey's problem wasn't me, he is still up to shit. He is probably reading this. He keeps on getting into shit.

All I do is ignore. You're not the one who slipped up. When you don't entertain her she will turn to the one who messed up, her husband. You don't deny or confirm. Just ignore. Also, don't block, because she will get another number to harrass you from. Simply save the number as "A wife no answer".

You don't have to explain your way of earning a living.

As for me , i don't really answer my calls when am busy not even private number but if it happened that am not busy and i answer my call then i will simple saiy to her , excuse me mum , you talking to a wrong person so i suggest is a wrong number.

Evening,I'm with Sabrina, the SP does not have to explain anything,however with persistent calls being received it could become difficult as Miss Megan stated. SP should not feel threatened as they like all of us just trying to make an income and are truly worthy.
