Sorry man. That really sucks, especially at this time of the year. Hopefully the insurance service is as good as the others and you get sorted out soon.

I did offer them Marshmallows since the braai was on already.
The one chap said that if you can laugh in the face of diversity you guys will be fine.
But every one was awesome and helpful. SAPS would not leave until they were sure that the property was safe.
Insurance was really good to get things going the next day
So no holiday for me - need to buy new furniture/ curtains etc. Really a kak time of the year to get delivery

I'm so sorry to hear this has happened to you mate, can't imagine the feeling of loss at this time of the year!
However whilst half your house has been taken, no lives were lost.
You can rebuild your house, probably better than before but you can never replace a lost loved one.
I'm sure you will be back up and running, and make sure you add some of those features and things you've always wanted when you rebuild of your house.

Give this man a Bells ... and an automatically triggered Halon/Carbon Dioxide Dump System for his new house.
What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger, and I have this sneaking suspicion you're strong enough as it is.
