I'm in the same boat, was a very well known lady on here. As soon as she had to wait for something, she disappeared and blocked. Emotional damage still there.

Ask yourself "what do I have to lose if this doesn't work out ?"
Depending on your answer, thinking with your brain and not down below, take it from there. Guard your heart, see if her personality changes ( good or bad ) and at least give it a try. It will be an adjustment for the both of you at first, let the past stay in the past, be honest and open and work together to make it work.
If it doesn't work out, walk away and don't look back in anger.
