If you never shaved before, the first time is going to be very un-comfortable for a few days, however, if you keep shaving eventually it gets better.

Do not apply a lot of force as well just let the blade do its job.

I use the Gillette disposable 3 blade razor, with NO issues.

Not necessarily true for everyone. I usually fuck on the day I shave with no issues. I just use Nivea Men's body cream on it if I remember.

The more you do it, the easier it gets. I'm sure it used to burn initially which was the need for lotion and sometimes even aftershave (eek) but now nothing so it's not needed but just looks better for the chick.

I notice a little itching after a couple days for a short while with the short stubble from one side poking the other side. Yeah, I shave all the way down my ass crack in case someone wants to eat my ass.

Once a week seems best. Long enough to not stimulate thick fast hair growth but often enough that you almost always clean shaven or have very short stubble which most women are still happy sucking your balls with.

Apply an antiseptic/medicated cream after shaving.Bactroban or the generics Supiroban & Nuban.
This helps the skin heal from any micro abrasions, and can prevent in-growns and it makes your pubic area really smooth.

A combo of nystatin and bactroban will deal with most fungal and bacterial infections that can set in after a shave, and reduce the 'razor burn' appearance. Works on the face as well. Fairly cheap and OTC and can last very long. SS must be jerking off with it, if it only lasts a month, lol. Or shaving every day.

If razor burn is very bad you can add a mild steroid like biocort, but not as a regular application.
