My battle is with alcohol. And I always mention it here cos many punters here will have seen me in my drunk days and believe me, they will always remember that 1 time they saw me drunk and throw that in my face. So yip, even the very people who tell you to clean up your act will trip you up at any given opportunity. The very people who pointed out my addiction, stopped inviting me after I cleaned up my act. And those who knew I was a WG said it was because of the industry, but all their other drunk friends not in this industry? I think irs just so much easier to point out SW.
There was a dealer in the complex next door a few years ago. I watched the goings on and I can tell you I don't think his customers were SWs. The regulars were 2 young moms, a rep for a salon range hair product company, a young man who on Fridays pulled up with a trailer hooked to his BMW, every weekend a different boy toy (quad bike/scrambler/jetski, etc), a well-known muslim leader in the area's son, a fund raiser for a local charity, etc.
About a year ago I had suspicions that my son was using coke and/or cat. All the signs were there..money disappearing, extreme weightloss... aggression..but always denying it. Until he borrowed his sisters ph and forgot to erase messages to his gf. Eventually we had the proof and my daughter and myself intervened.
Luckily it was caught in time as at that stage they were still using for recreational purposes.
I still have a watchful eye on him though and I suppose I always will. The threat of addiction ever prevalent. So yes, I don't think there's many of us on here that haven't been affected by substance abuse in some way.
Maybe some advice to the ladies? Don't make escorting your life.. try have a career or other interests outside of this purple world. Broaden your horizons so you have a choice.
It's worked for me and the few gorgeous ladies who have commented previously...
Stay safe and look after yourselves ladies AND gentlemen...
Well said Nadia. Drug addiction, just like alcohol addiction can be found everywhere, not only in this industry.
I just think that this industry makes it so much easier for a person to get addicted, because of the intimacy of the job which has a huge impact on a lady emotionally in terms of guilt and self loathing and also because of the type of people she is exposed to in terms of clients, venue owners and other ladies, who often push drugs on them.
In the world outside these purple pages, people also have friends, coworkers etc pushing drugs on them yes, but I do not think that it happens in every single normal working environment (I could be wrong of course), whereas in this business whether the lady works alone or in a venue, the chances of someone trying to get her to use drugs is almost 100% imo.
@Miss Ruby, very well said! It is so very important to have a life outside this Purple world.
As a parent, I can just imagine what you as a family must have gone through!
I thank god that I have been exposed to this industry, because it made me street smart wrt to the dangers my children may be exposed to in the world out there. So in that respect I think this industry can have a positive effect on a person as well in that it makes us more aware of not only the dangers, but also makes us aware of the signs and symptoms of addiction. That is why I maintain that women in this business make excellent mothers.
Imo we needed someone like the new president of Philippines here, who makes it his mission to rid the country of the drug dealers once and for all.....
One of my First bookings since a member was with a popular girl based on her reviews. She was a breath of fresh air, great service really nice. Was with her Three times. Because she moved around only caught up with her a year later. Was shocked. Could not believe its the same girl. She was going down hill fast. Sad indeed.
