As far as I know, street vendors are now allowed to trade if they have a permit. This was announced last month, if I'm not mistaken.

To be honest, the use of the word "peddling" in this context left a foul taste in my mouth.

This was so unnecessary. A SP (illegal) accepting bookings (still illegal) during the lockdown has an issue with people selling eggs on the street.

One can argue that Mr Egg Peddler is more of an essential service than you Kaycee.

The issue is actually not that you're taking bookings but more that you want to attack your fellow lockdown rule breakers with that holier than thou attitude.

A lady can have close contact and wear a mask and sanitise you. Her profession ain't gonna kill you unless you both don't take precautions. If you're so into calling the profession illegal then you shouldn't be on this site in the first place. Her point is valid and street vendors out there should be wearing masks. They are more likely to spread infections considering the large number of people they interact with including the passers by. This is not a place for bullying the ladies. Speak to whether the point made is valid or not and state your position on the subject instead of attacking the lady in an attempt to discredit her statement by virtue of her profession.

It seems to me that whatever is said these days is met with alot of animosity, people trying to break my stride as well as others. I deem it unnecessary to try and embarrass someone in front of 100's cos guess what I'm not crying I'm sitting here laughing at those who have nothing better to do than break people down.
