Get a punting phone. I never answer calls on this phone because no one I know has this number. Also I never give my real name to SPs. If you do this you will never face this situation.

These scammers are def not in cahoots with people in cellphone companies and not all are in prison. How would they even know who books girls and who doesnt when picking a number.

You should mess right back with them. Screw them around. Give fake eWallet numbers or Shoprite numbers. Let them run around .....

Just a side note with regards to the mobile operators - I'm not saying they are necessarily to blame for these punter scams, but they definitely leak your number on occasion.

I have a data sim as part of my cellphone contract, and literally only the mobile operator has that number - I have never ever given it out for whatever reason. Yet, lately I get marketing calls and SMS messages on that number.
