Like the rest of South African retailers the Black Friday specials was a joke compared to what is offered in the USA. In the US and UK serious discounts are offered. In SA they take consumers for stupid twats with their R100 off a large appliance type bullshit specials.


I don't recall any WG last year latching on to black Friday specials.

Great idea tho. An enterprising WG could offer early Friday morning that she will offer first 5 callers a full hour for half her rate. Or something along those lines. Won't happen tho.
