Some do know but are not supportive 100% but whilst the economy and jobs are not thriving there is no other choice but to continue some couples have also met through this industry ...

I had a strict rule about not playing outside of work.

As a sexual person

(I don't like the word bisexual, because I connect deeper with women emotionally than I do with men. But if I do connect deeply with a man on an emotional level I am willing to and have dated men. On a sexual level, I can connect with anyone)

So as a sexual person, being in this industry, I saw a lot of men and was yearning for a connection with a female.

I had a lady who was fan girling all over my work Instagram profile in 2021 and decided to give it a shot because she was also in the industry.

With this specific relationship it actually was great to have someone to talk to, who could understand when we had a difficult day at work or even when we had a great day at work for that matter lol.

Then I started seeing a guy for a brief period last year and he of course was not in the industry. He knew what I do and anyone I see or date will know what I do. I absolutely abhor Dishonesty and deceit in any shape or form, so I will always be transparent. Anyway, he could not handle it. He got incredibly jealous and became passive aggressive. I of course never discussed details with him. But he kept acting out and soon our fling fizzled out. Even though I loved him, I had to put myself first and will never make decisions based on how other people feel. So I was not willing to end my career for love. If I leave the industry it will be because I want to.

Then I started seeing a lady, who knows exactly what I do and we had to have difficult conversations but she was always supportive and understanding. There of course will always be a bit of jealousy. But it's processing and understanding that, that will not only benefit your relationship. But you as an individual to understand why we react and respond the way we do and what we really feel. It also helps to better articulate your emotions and come up with healthy solutions.

This relationship also didn't last. But through every experience in life we learn and take good from it.

Right now I would like to just do me and my clients of course.

But that's my experience and I know each of us will have our own unique experience

Most have BFs (and def certainly husbands too).

Once got served by a married MG at a normal mainstream spa, didn't know she was. Had about 3-4 sessions of normal massages then one day out of the blue offered me a HE and I took it. It became something we did (was not allowed there). One day she was so turned on (mentioned how wet she) she half stripped, said it was a pity she didn't have condoms on her.

It never left me that if I had some on me I could have smashed her fully knowing her husband assumes his wife just works at the spa. I have never really looked at all spa ladies the same after the experience. She was not a typical looking "MG turned WG-kind" if you know what I mean like typically switch to dirty talk, teasing, cleavage, lingerie, lead you on etc. She was the least likely looking off that list of therapists I was even surprised she did a HE on me. Looked a mom.

Since then I realised 100% possibly my own wife could be doing shit too. I also will never know it.

Lots of short relationships, with benefits.

But seriously, most have a boyfriend.
Not so sure about married.

My partners (I'm poly) know what I do. They're supportive.

I've had relationships where I didn't tell (for years). The secrets weigh heavy.

The monogamous ones take it badly.
Poly people still struggle with some aspects, nobody is immune to jealousy/envy in some way... but if the communication skills and transparency is there then it's manageable.

Just be glad that her partner is not next door whilst you're doing the deed, haha!

There was a stunning Greek/Portuguese lady that advertised on here many moons ago. Was based on JHB but eventually moved to Cape Town with her partner. Here's the kicker, her partner would insist on meeting the punter before the booking. Talk about a blind side the first time I booked her.

Also had such an experience.. went for an Asian "massage", husband was in the living room looking after the kids... She locked the door so I felt what the heck let's see if he can hear her over the sound of the TV.

On my way out you could see the hurt in the man's eyes, put me off for a couple of months.

Yes, I met him. Very awkward. The minute I walked in he was sitting on the couch and I got startled. Had a long chat where he tried to reassure me that he was perfectly fine with what she does for a living. Said the intro was more to ensure her safety, but still...it was unsettling.

Did he give you any pointers?

I'm sure there are SP here who are married.
Now my question is this.

If you are married or in a relationship, does your other half know exactly what you do for a living?
I'm not talking girls who do massage only, I'm talking FH.

And if they know, how do they take it?

Its just something I'm wondering

Yes, my partner knows exactly what I do. Even though he says he'd love for me to quit working in the industry, he realises that this is where he met me and it would be unfair (and impossible) to tell me (a strong willed woman) what to do.
He also realises that though I give my clients a certain level of service, that he's the one who gets to wake up next to me every day.

It would be absurd to tell me to quit, not leaving me any choice in the matter.

Does he spoil me and pay for almost everything? Yes. Do I want to ask him for every single little thing? No.
