The problem is after 21days it wont be gone or even less because of a lot of people think this is a joke. Still going and play in streets, visit your friends, go to shops and not for buying just to get out, drink in publik. Taxis still pic up lots of pedestrians in one taxi and so on. And non of these people using gloves, mask or stand the one meter from each other.
But as soon as there family get isolated alone or die, then they want to blame everyone els.
And Im not panic, its reality.
I was also sceptic first but, this week it sinks in. I lived my live so far. What about my children and grand children that got so much to live for. People need to get responsible and face reality of this issue.

I agree with John_Adams. The economic impact of this is going to kill far more than this Virus.

Corona is real.. Go look at Italy! 1000 deaths in 24 hours.

We may not be so lucky if it takes hold of SA as it did of Italy;(

1.) The lockdown will be extended and intensified. More troops will be deployed ASAP.
2.) The peak infections will hit end April through May
3.) The health system will crash in terms of caring for the infected.
4.) People over 65 will be taken off respirators and put out to pasture. Sedate and let them die, the mortality rate of over 65 makes it statistically not viable to care for such a dangerous group.
5.) The economy is fucked already
6.) A vaccine will only be available beginning January 2021
7.) There will be massive job losses and bankruptcy will be the order of the day.
8.) SOE's will be trimmed as well as State Departments
9.) This will be the macro effect. The micro effect will be far more severe.

Bruv, morning, SOE's trimmed? As good as this is, it just adds more unemployed to the pastures. There will have to be a root and branch approach in my opinion to get the economy off uncertainty and back to life support. No, I do not have the answers but encourage entrepreneurs and pray
