JP82 you said you posted this because you were scammed. If that is your reasoning then you should be more than happy to take your money for the issue to be resolved and the lady has offered it now. You should be rejoicing now surely. But it appears you are more interested in getting her to agree to see you again. This is the most revealing sentence in your original post. The spite is hidden in the "if".

If you truly felt strongly about how you were compromising her income, her keeping the money wouldn't bother you to the extent that you humiliatingly reveal this on her business platform, (even though it's okay to feel sulky about not getting your overnight booking, assuming genuine misunderstanding).
