Her Bantu education fact made me think and yes it was Very wrong to have different levels of education to limit a specific races groups opportunities and chances at life yet now that education is on the same level,
Learners are asking for lower pass rates, then no exams cos they're failing dismally and want continuous evaluation and then burn down the schools wtf?
Some things I'll never understand
The government has passed these ridiculously low pass marks to make their own lives easier. The more students that pass, the less they have to try to make an actual difference by teaching them the right way. The proper way- giving people basic dignity through proper education, costs money.
People are sick and tired of being looked over, regime after regime. It's understandable that frustration leads to rage, and then people burn things in the hopes of being taken seriously. Education is not on the same level! Be serious! A public school in a 'white' area is not on the same level as another, not in general. Why? Because the politicians have never cared, and never will. Whether they are brown, white, pink or black. Stop allowing 'the man' influence your humanity.
You are right, a wise man once said:
'The lips of the righteous, teach many. But fools die for want of wisdom'
Most people will never get it.
