Being a strong individual is not looking down on others when things are going well for you. It's also not sitting on the sideline throwing shade and negativity on those around you while claiming to be an independent thinker.

Commenting on the age of a woman, as if age has some sort of implicit value, is demeaning to women, it perpetuates a stereotype many are trying to move away from, to understand the beauty that comes with age.
