When addressing overall wellness which comes first?
Spiritual?
Mind?
Body?
....and not to forget both the social and intellectual.

One talks about health and wellness without realizing health is one thing and wellness another .

The focus of healing and striving toward a balanced lifestyle.

Health encompasses
- the physical , mental , emotional AND spiritual and social.

Wellness is about the interaction, the feeding of ones physical , mental and spiritual.

Can health be without wellness or , can wellness be without health.

I always say ....a healthy body is a healthy mind and a healthy mind is a healthy body.

Let us address the various aspects in YOUR life that impede on overall wellness that does affect the health factor in your life.

Looking fwd to hearing from you and assisting in understanding why it may feel you are fighting a losing battle.

Pls note : strictly to appointment only.
First session includes consultation.
Programmes are NOT generic.
Discretion and privacy is a guarantee .

When one talks about health and wellness and wanting to address issues in ones life.

What does it mean to aim for a balanced lifestyle?

Well ...like a good successful business plan looking for growth and longterm sustainability, no reason not to have a framework and goal setting for ones own life and work toward longevity.

The first step we would address is...why are you wishing to make changes?

What is your goal?

Just like a mindmap when applying critical thinking and relevant and successful solution targeting.

Goal setting needs to be

Time bound
Specific
Relevant
Measurable and achievable.

Referring to the previous post :

Those targeting health.
Those targeting wellness.

The understanding of how each interacts / impedes / heals that which might be affecting an overall sense of balanced living.

Let us set the goals that are effective for YOUR lifestyle and balanced wellbeing.

Quoted and always focused on and reminded of, when being part of my health and wellness programmes.

"....achieving and maintaining a healthy lifestyle isn't about flawless execution; it's about showing up consistently, even when things are not perfect. Consistency outweighs perfection in the pursuit of health, wellness and fitness."

Breaking bad habits requires critical analysis and accepting and understanding what changes are required and why and then being....CONSISTENT.

Baby steps conserving energy and working toward a goal understood and set.

Looking fwd to being your first go to when it comes to goal setting and implementation

Again to emphasise...

What does wellness counseling look like?

What does it entail?

And

Why would one aim toward targeting wellness .

It is not only about targeting mental health BUT understanding how it impacts every other aspect of ones life.
How it impacts on relationships, performance and ... self evaluation.

To quote:-

"...mental health may be seen as simply the current state, or lack of distress, while mental wellbeing can connote a broader, proactive, a more positive view, including the preparation for and managing life's challenges (resilience)."

One focus being , emotional development.

Looking fwd to assist in putting many a worrying thought in perspective.

Emotional maturity
- Awareness
- Regulation
- Empathy
- Social skills

Ownership without beating down on self and working toward taking steps to move fwd.

Addressing
- Survival
- Security
- Success
- Serenity

That impacts

- Physical
- Mental
- Emotional
- Spiritual

BUT

Is emotional maturity the same as emotional intelligence?

They are related but, NOT the same

Emotional Intelligence is the ability to recognise and understand.
Emotional maturity is the application of that understanding.

And thus the healthy balanced introspection and analysis of self impacting on ones daily living with a positive mindset and frame.

Looking fwd to YOU.

Runners -

Calves
Hamstring
Glutes and quadriceps

Cyclists-
The same as above and the upper body for steering and balance

Bodybuilders and their focus on all major muscle groups.

Golfers- a wide range of upper and lower body muscles interacting

Just some of the muscles mentioned in various sporting disciplines that require an understanding of how the body works, how both soft tissue ans skeletal structure interact looking to maintain stability, control and create required further power .

The key muscles to optimum performance and a strong core.

Many a time targeting the pain is not the solution as much as it is understanding and targeting the root of the pain.

Looking fwd to being of assistance.

Strictly to appointment.
