No don't do it,and besides not all STI's are fully curable. Herpes for instance is like Malaria, it returns atleast twice a year.

What about the obvious. Nevermind STDs and all that. What about babies etc.

Now u wil say there is morning after pils abortions etc. What if the girl doesnt want to do all that and she wants to keep the baby. The guy has no say in it but is still liable for everything like maintance etc. What if its a triplet. Lol

And all u guys are focusing on is STIs

That is the name of the game in Bangkok. Everybody pops Truvada and everything is right with the world. But - they are seeing Gonorrhoeae that is anti-biotic resistant. And some other nasties. So yes, you could dip your willy and not get HIV. But things like HPV and Herpes are rife here in SA - you will catch multiple strains and that is very difficult to keep a lid on. You may not have symptoms, but one day you go through some stress, and all of a sudden your shaft is full of warts and you have painful herpes blisters.

I feel you, I had a stint of barebacking in my day. Glad to have it behind me, and very glad to have come away with no nasties, including HIV because those days Prep was not available. These days I don't even take oral without. Just no longer safe.

Perfect, just the the thread I was looking for.

I've met a lovely lady and we've decided to start a FWB arrangement. We're both in our mid-20s and have agreed to get tested first. Once clear, she's happy to go on birth control so we can have sex raw.

For those who've been in a similar situation, how effective was birth control for you and your partner when you went raw? Did you ever have pregnancy scares, or did it work out fine?

Would love to hear some real experiences from others who've gone this route.

Thanks!

Pull out man. Pull out.

In this day and age, that is too risky. Any and every chick will say exactly that coz you won't/not commiting so they can get pregnant and then you're forced to commit to child support at least, and if they work their pussy magic on you, you will commit to a whole freaking relationship or marriage with a hoe.

Birth control is safe when you live with the person and see them taking it every single day to be sure but they don't even take their diabetes tablets consistently on their own.

And to as to the scares, I've had scares man when I was young. Two was a lie to try and make me stay in a relationship and one just wanted to hassle me for money "to do an abortion" and another actually got pregnant (because she forgot a couple pills here and there) and we had to do an abortion so it isn't really all that reliable and it's a shit thing to go through.

Also learn about the ovulation cycle. I didn't know this when I was young. Women can only get pregnant when they are ovulating which is mid cycle at around the 14th day from start of period. Some have different cycles so you need to figure hers out but birth control will regulate it to 28 days on most cases. Basically, she can't get pregnant outside of ovulation anyway so if you figure that out, then you don't need to pull out about 3 weeks on a month, just a couple days before and few days after to be safe and avoid surprises and headaches. Let her swallow those babies instead during that ovulation window. You can also get ovulation testers which normally come in a pack of 5 from Dischem that you can use during that period to be certain. People usually use them to figure out when to conceive a baby but you'll use it to avoid conceiving a baby.
