There was a guy, but he was arrested. Dont try to "fast track" this shit. It doesnt take that long anyway. Do it thru your bank to avoid Home Affairs.

Tried the online route, 4 weeks later no success to even make a booking at a bank.(may just arrrg go stand in a que at home affairs)

The banks first availability for appointments is on the 3rd of Aug. Randburg was my next step, they have been offline since yesterday... Trust me, fast tracking is the last thing I wanna do, but the end justifies the means in this case....

There are issues with doing an online booking for the bank. There system is a but wonky. Once you get a booking though and got through the process you will get your passport in a week.

The way I was told to do it is to go to the bank and ask them to help you out. The lady or gent will tell you the exact dates you have to enter to find a booking. That's how I got it right for my mum.

Give it a try. Much nicer going to the bank than home affairs

Got some done 2 weeks ago in 5 days .... Just the normal turnaround time.

Go to any home affairs at 15:10 and join the queue. It's not half as bad as people are making it sound to be. It's actually quicker to make a passport application at home affairs than getting anything, and I mean anything at a bank branch.
