Sorry Gents dont know how you feel about cancelation fees but from now on im going to start charging them. An hour to 30min notice is not enough.
After my fourth cancellation today ive had enough

Ive also heard all the excuses in the book already from the atm stole my card to someone parking me in to the favourite ive got a meeting... very frustrating when you turn down loyal clients for booking when clients cancel

ok and what about the times I booked a girl a day in advance drove 400km to pretoria for the booking , ok sometimes I fly , same difference and when I phone to say I arrived she simply doesn't answer her phone , what about a little compensation for my time and traveling costs , fuel is not free and neither is my time

funny how the girls can throw tantrums when guys ghost them , but have no issues with ghosting the guys and not giving a shit

It definitely is a nuisance, but unfortunately it would be extremely difficult to get these punters to pay the cancellation fee. They'll probably just block you as soon as it's mentioned.

I suggest that you prioritise your regulars over the newbies.

Wild one in sorry this has happened to you really I am and no onee said you cant throw a tantrum or leave a negative review.
I ask all clients to confirm there bookings the day before or after unless its a naughty last minute and then i expect confirmed bookings to pitch. Im really just at my wits end when my whole day is destroyed through cancellations and I wish there was something I could do

How does this have anything to do with the girl that stood you up? It wasn't Alice's doing.

Sadly it is part of this industry and will never stop. If they don't pitch hard to charge them for it.

It is very frustrating when you have no shows.

The cancellation fee never works, here is what works for me...

1) Far in advance appointments I might ask a small deposit, especially if I have a gut feel, that he might just be a no show ,while engaging with the person.

2) Make a note of the no show guys... the next time they call to make an appointment then inform them that they did not show for last appointment they made therefore he will be required to pay a small deposit to secure his slot.

On a side note... We can not brush everyone with the same brush like wild one is trying to do. . Each person should be treated on their own merit and enjoying the misfortune of another just because you got burnt by a dishonest women ain't right.

Going by what you're saying, these are working hours in which youve had your cancellations. And things come up - no pun intended. While this is your bread and butter - to punters its merely a fun activity. Its not a priority necessarily.

This is probably the most honest statement made by a punter on the forum in a long time..

And for that reason many do not treat their appointments with SPs like any other business appointment and therefore they won't prioritise it, but rather some treat the appointment like a squash game or a round of golf planned or a trip to the car wash or a gym session , it can be shifted, done later or even forgotten, it does not affect negatively ;)

The same goes for girls that don't keep appointments they not treating this venture of theirs as a serious business venture and they are just winging it day by day and therefore do not care that they wasted a punters time and petrol by not being available at the appointment time.
The sad thing is that ladies that do not take this a bit more serious and make effort to keep appointments will never have the security of a regular client base.
