Everyone that knows me knows that I have the biggest wildest bush of long curly red hair.

Love my hair but now and then we get tired and do something different. Well yesterday was one of those days.

I had a quiet afternoon so washed,dried and straightened this hair till it was straight and shiny:) no one odd curl in sight!

Around at 8 had a call. "Can I pick you up at 9 for drinks"

So I get ready. And wait.
Eventually I am at the gate waiting.( Keep in mind I have moved to a new place yesterday morning)

Another couple that also stay in same complex ends up at same spot as me waiting for a cab. We end up having a chat. Two cars enter the complex after each other. I pay no attention as I do not recognize any of the cars.

Not even a minute later the phone rings.. I think I am infront off your apartment..

This guy drove right past me into complex behind the other car that entered.;)

I tell him I am at the gate he must have driven past me.

So out he comes. Different car from what he normally drives. Recognize it as one of the cars that entered a few minutes ago.

I get in car. First thing he says before even saying hallo.. is "Don't do that again"

I look at him and ask what did I do. You are the idiot that drove in behind others and did not call me when you got to gate!

Don't do that to your hair again..I did not recognize you!.. he says.

I am speechless:)

Change is not always a good thing.!!

How about posting a pic in your personal gallery then the gold members can give you an unbiased opinion :)

Did not expect the reaction I got think about it , it is quiet funny now... but he can relax chances that he will see me like that again is very slim.;)

Straight hair for me is really a waste of time and money. Wind, water, massage oils and hands in my hair will undo that
sleek look in no time.
So I do it very very seldom.

Love my wild unruly curly hair..

Capetown wind can't do anything to ruin the look . Humidity and Water can't undo it like it can with a straight blownout!

And best of all I don't mind hands in my hair when the occasion calls for a firm grip or fingers in hair during a particularly wild or passionate session.;)
