I have been visiting Meulmed Hospital in Arcadia quite often this past couple of weeks for the first time in about 5 years. I am happy to report that the street element is no longer harassing you the moment you pull up to a traffic light, a few ladies of colour but no white girls. Seems like TMPD cleaned up the area in the sense of street workers. I do understand everybody must make a living but there are alternatives in place ie: PurpleWorld.

I truly hope this is the case for all areas surrounding Pretoria.

This is so true, we don't know and understand their reason for why they opt to ply their trade from the street corners.

Make them aware of the purple world. One never knows, some might just decide to join.

Many street girls don't own themselves anymore.

We assume they work there by choice but I have met a lady who was put there by her Nigerian pimp. She was an addict.

ASASH yes I have seen one a few years ago one afternoon when I had to drive through Arcadia. She actually advertises here now.
