Dear regulars and non regulars and new visitors;)

I genuinely appreciate you.
I treasure you and will go out my way to accomodate you in time slots that works for you.
But i can not do what was the implied expectation today.

Please please book and confirm your appointment like everyone else, to avoid what happened today not once but twice.

Two clients, one regular one not so regular but have see before, both made enquieries to my availability early in morning, i told them availability.

They did not set appointments but opted for "i will see what my schedule is like if i am in area and if i have time to pop in" and "i will let you know when i head your way, maybe i can fit in a visit"

That is not a confirmed appointment in my book and I doubt it would be in any other lady's book.

I ended up confirming two other appointments before either of those two called back hours later, trying to tell me they can be by me in 10 minutes.

Both got iffy with me because i could not possibly accomodate them on short notice without jeopardizing the other 2 confirmed appointments.

One the regular, even went as far as to say.." i thought you would wait for my call, now you missed out"

Yes i missed out on seeing you..but i was not going to risk loosing money on your ifs and maybes, this is fun for you so a if and a maybe works for you, this is my income and ifs and maybea dont work for me.

I will not be keeping time slots open for anyone , regular or not, that has not set an appointment and had not confirmed a set time.

Should another guy call and set an appointment with a confirmed time i am definitely going to accomodate him over your if/maybe potential visit.

When i aint busy i have no issue seeing anyone on short notice providing it does not jeopardize or interfere with another clients confirm and set appointment time.

My time and another client's time, is as precious as yours, please respect that.

Please respect the fact that i work on appointments.

This allows me to not rush you and others through appointments.

It allows me to not be a "clock watcher".

It allows me to give you my undevided attention for the time you booked as i have sceduled enough time between you and my next appointment to not feel time pressures.

It allows me to scedule my days in order for me to do other things that is also important to me.

Please get set appointments amd if you cant and do have to do the short notice thing... do not get iffy with me if i can not accomodate you on short notice.

I should feel better knowing it is not just me this happens to.. but it just makes me more sad. Because it this seems to be a common thing. Had two whatsups from other ladies that never participate on forum saying it happens to them all the time.

Definitely happens a lot more often than it should, it seems.

The worse of it is that, rather than being miffed at them for not securing an appointment and getting iffy with me as a result. I end up feeling bad because i could not accomodate them. I am so done with feeling bad because of others in ability to organise their lives, it aint even funny. It really is energy zapping.

On the bright side the two who did make appointments, that was the reason i could not accomodate the two if /maybe guys..did pitch on time with the most beautiful energy.

There are hundreds if not thousands of others that do get that time is equally as valuable/precious to us as to them, that do make appointments and do pitch up in time.

To them...

thank you.. i hope you all know how we ladies appreciate that little bit of planning and effort you do make to secure an appointment and to pitch on time.

Imo, I will call and confirm isnt an appointment
I will be in the area in the afternoon
I will come around lunch time
I will be there in the next hour or so .... Are not def appointments.
When you make such vague arrangements,what time do you expect me to keep open for you? When can I book the next cliet?

Well said Miss Red, you're not alone in this. Happens to me as well, what some forget is: this is our livelihood and not a game.
