So I need to warn everyone about this.... last year especially with lockdowns I purchased digital media from a SP.

She also has an Instagram and some social media profile. I decided to follow the Instagram profile having nothing really to even hide myself.

A real life friend of mine went through who I follow and has met the SP before so when I met my friend she asked me about it and all I said was I don't know her haven't met her in real life... my friend asked me to open Instagram and confirmed she knew the SP.

I did not have any other interaction with the SP. My lady friend spoke to her (this was before Christmas) and the SP blocked me and stayed out of touch. I assumed it's because of crossing paths with someone who knows her.

I've received a threatening message from the SP who still advertises here.

And a voice note and message threatening to expose me by revealing who I am publicly on the forum while also reblocking me.

I am not concerned cause I never even kept or saved any pictures but I feel attacked since this SP already has stuff in the public domain...

In my opinion this SP should be banned from ESA. This isn't decent behavior.

Please note I received the "threat" yesterday after months of no contact.

I also have screenshots of proof of the threat and the voice note.

If she has an active advert name and shame so we know who to avoid.

Pretty messed up that you showed your real life friend. You shouldn't have done that.

That said don't think she should retaliate.

So for clarity my real life friend went through who I follow so it was not deliberate ...

I dont use IG anymore but I think there was a way to hide the people you follow like FB does. Having been acquired by FB should have it by now if it did not have it already.

Was meant to protect you from nosy people (family, colleagues, neighbours) so they dont see who you follow/friends. It was a function designed for exactly this situation.

Please name and shame - if you aint comfy with that, atleast report to ESA. Not sure how the SP will react to either of these, but she needs to be exposed. Client privacy is a MUST in this game

Maybe ask your lady friend what she said you said. Got a feeling your lady friend has something to do with it.
Here's the lesson- do not mix your personal social media with your covert activities.

The SP was quite oblivious to this until your lady friend got involved and a conversation then take place ... Did your lady friend make threatening gestures to the SP???
The PS shouldn't threatem you but something had gone on in the background ....!

I confirmed there wasn't much conversation as my lady friend actually knew the SP before she knew me.

Id like to hear ESAs view on this then decide if I name or shame
