I got this guy friend whose friends with a married couple I am friends with them too. He was first friends with wife whom he was friends with before the husband was around kinda school buddies him and the wife . His attracted to wife but keeps his distance but somehow every now and than the three of them end up being together due to them being close to each other via where they stay or functions. That's when he can't help flirting with her and she doesn't tell him back off and actually kinda encourages this behavior. He feels really bad but feels so much lust his afraid he might get involved with her on a physical level. His confided in me and uses me as protection. I've told him about consequences and even spoken to her but their flirting and physical attraction to each other is getting worse.

Let him give her and move on, she clearly wants it.

My gut feeling says so to q. I'm just worried it might become a physical affair and lead to trouble.best I keep my distance and just greet them.

I've already backed off and told my guy buddy how I felt he actually understood. The lady buddy of mine on the other hand doesn't seem impressed with me not that I care I just did my part as a bud.
