Hi everyone, so I will be relocating to Jhb in the next few months. Where would be the safest suburb to live that's close to the Jhb CBD as that is where I will be based. Any help or info will be greatly appreciated.

Anything with a "Park" in the name is usually a safe bet, aside from Parktown.

Lots of options, best to come and drive around the areas and see what tickles your fancy. Killarney and surrounding areas and Bedfordview are also great areas as well very easy access to the city. Consider the South Mulbarton and surrounding areas as well, last I heard it's not a long drive into the city via Booysens. I would also consider easy access to a Gautrain station that way you can expand your options.

Rosentville

Glenanda,Rosebank. For me rosentville,turfontein scary especially at night and with violence taking place there. good luck.

Most, if not all, upmarket Jhb suburbs are already in process of decay due to the criminal infestation.

I would say Killarney, Rosebank, Parkhurst and surrounds have quick easy access routes to the CBD.
