it ain't about negativity, if the honest truth no to trust SP no mater how long you know them when I come to loaning or helping out. Many pinter have been lied and cheated. Sorry but I rather pay for a booking then give a cent in advance. With many SP havinf secret financier, don't be a fool. I got burnt really nicely. Rember the smoke and mirrors.

I am certainly gonna do this. What I realised is that if each of my regulars just pays R100 in advance, I'll be able to keep head above water and maintain a very basic lifestyle. I have certain staples like toiletries and cleaning materials in excess, in fact. But the funny thing is I have not been stockpiling food like I used to a few years back. I found that I never got round to using it myself but giving it away if my inner circle needed.

I can understand some of the resistance to provide financial support, but it doesn't have to be loans or advanced payments if you are not comfortable doing that.

I assume those of you with domestic workers will still pay them for this period they cannot come to work.

Most people who do that justify it with the simple reasoning that it's part of the normal monthly budget anyway, and we're capable of cleaning our own house and washing our own clothes for 3 weeks.

We'd also really like them to be safe, secure, and to come back after all this and continue servicing our needs.

If you have an SP you see regularly, why not approach it in the same way? If you spend 1k on the same person each month, and your income hasn't changed, just give that SP the 1k as usual this month, except service your own needs for a short period.

And no, before anyone thinks to say it, I am not comparing SPs to domestic workers.

Then i think you went to the wrong ladies Jack. I have been hurt, burned and cheeted...by standup afrikaner ooms in my church nogal. Very seldom by a lady and then only in 4 digit space. "My own people" burned me for many zeroes more.

Yes i am a freelancer and also not earning and am hurting myself by giving from my nestegg but the Lord will.provide when my time comes. Now may be the time when.my hands need to be His hands. He does not have other hands than human hands on earth.
How can a repeat and as far as punting goes unrepenting sinner like me talk about God? Well He works in weird ways and I still think he loves even us.

Fact is that almost everyone who has done this carries some wounds.I am no exception although I will add that I have had more positive than negative experiences.

Ive been telling him this for along time but he always tells me about his favorite ladies yet here he is not even offering to help those favorite ladies of which one of them probably need his help at this time and this is his attitude.
