Cape town visit: Avoid suburbs

I visit Cape Town from 14 May for 10 days. Visiting SP's is part of my planning. I am not familiar with suburbs in Cape Town that are safe to visit a SP.
Please give me an indication of safe suburbs. Tx

Although you can never give blanket guarantees, I would say you are fairly safe looking in the following areas: Sea Point, Green Point, Gardens, Blouberg, Century City and most parts of the CBD.
I would avoid places like Parow, Goodwood, Brooklyn.

Very good advice. A good rule of thumb is to keep left of the N1 (Brooklyn, Ysterplaat etc break this rule). Avoid all suburbs to the right of the N1.
Southern suburbs are generally fine.
Keep your wits and rely on your gut. Reach out if you need assistance.

Definitely avoid Brooklyn....it was dodgy back in 2000 so you can just imagine now. It was well known for its "padkos" back then

For me personally, nothing good has ever happened in Goodwood.
Areas I usually avoid are Brooklyn, Goodwood, Milnerton (unless I know the lady, because many of the Milnerton listings are actually rugby or Brooklyn which is shit), Muizenberg, N1 City, Paarl, Parklands, Parow and Stellenbosch (again, unless I know the lady in question).
Not a big southern suburbs fan in general but that's just personal preference.
Lots of good talent centralised around CBD, Greenpoint, Seapoint and waterfront.
Then if you want to travel a bit, century city and Blouberg/Tableview not bad either.
But your best bet is to post what you're looking for and some punters might just inbox you some good recommendations.
Our do the usual and check reviews before committing.
