Don't you ever wonder how many or even whom of your friends, family or acquaintances are also on the Purple pages and that you may unknowingly be interacting with them on the forums etc ...

Or they simply looking in and reading and watching.

Boys will be boys and the purple site, if nothing else, is a sight for sore eyes!...and boys like to tell their buddies about that which satisfies the libido....by sight or touch.

I have wondered about this myself....could be more than we know.

Once while speaking about a topic of mutual interest with one of the ESA ladies, I realized that i knew the client she was referring too.

She never mentioned his name (no confidentiality breach) but the topic and incident mentioned meant I knew who it was without even her realizing it.

I never mentioned it to the guy, as I'm sure he values his privacy as much as I value mine.

I wonder about this as well. But I'm sure that if any of my friends are punters here, then just like me, they wont bring this up in our usual conversations.

Even when having a few drinks around the braai...

I think it's high mainly because of income inequality in SA. If you're on ESA you're part of an elite in the country - this applies to the WGs too. The total number of men who can responsibly, comfortably, and consistently pay the rates here (even R500/hr for example) is quite low as a total percentage of the population. If you're in a position to be here, then it's likely that also applies to your friends, family, colleagues, as our circles often mirror us - and it definitely applies to your managers and bosses who are always "in meetings". Men of all income groups punt - but punting responsibly and frequently as a hobby requires high disposable income, and most of the country lives paycheck to paycheck - or social grant to piece job to social grant. It doesn't feel like it's a small number because we're always in our respective enclaves, safely distant from the real SA.

Also, notice how many guys openly admit to paying strippers for example...let's not get started on blesser culture and everything like it, which is very open. Our sex drives are much more powerful than woman's, and this constant need for sex creates a demand that shocks working girls themselves...no new working girls believes it when she sees how much we're willing to pay for sex... (and then some unfortunately lose the plot, lose perspective, get entitled and greedy, and forget how little they'd be making, whilst working much harder and longer based on their actual workplace skills)...and in reality even when guys pretend they have a virtuous ceiling, that number's driven more by means than principle. I have a ceiling but it's got fuck-all to do with "not paying too much". There's always a new market to enjoy. Father god bless me with a good tender and I'm off to the states to fuck some of my favourite pornstars lol.

I myself was introduced to this online stuff from a manager I got along with who assumed I just knew about it. I had very negative connotations about this industry (that aren't completely false), and seeing this guy I respected bragging about paying for it did take away some disgust I held and opened me up. I know as much as he knows that it isn't just the two of us.

We sit in open plan offices, and one day I heard a colleague make a booking with a lady not far from the office :) I always wondered why he took 2 hour lunches.

Another time I found a colleagues car at a venue. Luckily I uber to most Punts, so he didn't see me.

Precisely why I avoid venues. Don't want anyone to recognise my car or me
