Being a WG means running your own business in a lot of ways.
It's always interesting to me watching those that seem to understand that and treat their businesses accordingly.
It's like some of the ladies undertake a SWOT analysis and fully understand who they are, what the landscape is like and where they can fit into it. I call these the professional ladies.
In contrast, there are ladies who seemingly believe that they simply need to build it and the punters will cum (I'm sorry I couldn't resist).
My observation is the professional ladies have much more staying power. They stick their heads out of the daily slog enough to adjust their offering in response to market changes.
The other ladies tend to attract interest when they are new but then seemingly assume that the level of attention they receive will never change. Then somewhere along the line, they are surprised by punters drying up because there's always someone shiny and new in this world.
Random post I guess but I've just been wondering what resources ladies have to learn to run their businesses better.

Most learn much of the business through working for someone first! Gain the skills, learn the pitfalls setup model and go off on their own.
Once in that shape can adjust offerings to best suit their levels of comfort and clientele type!
